What I Do

Mission Statement

My mission is to help students develop the critical thinking, reading, and writing skills they need to succeed in AP courses, college admissions, and beyond. Rather than teaching shortcuts or test tricks, I focus on the foundational skills that matter most: analyzing complex texts, forming independent ideas, and communicating those ideas clearly and confidently in writing. When students learn how to think, organize their thoughts, and express themselves effectively, strong grades and exam scores follow naturally.

Who I am

Short Bio

I’m a tutor and educator with a background in both education and law. I hold degrees from the University of Notre Dame (B.A.), Arizona State University (M.A. in English), and Texas A&M University (J.D.). After teaching and practicing law for nearly a decade, I returned to education with a focus on what matters most: helping students think critically, write clearly, and analyze complex material. I work with students on AP exams, college admissions, and academic writing by teaching skills that last far beyond a single test or class.
